Bandeño Mexican Food started with a simple idea—bringing the heart of traditional Mexican cooking to Southern California. Our family grew up in Cuernavaca & Queretaro, Mexico, where food was more than just a meal; it was a way of bringing people together. When we moved here, we carried those same recipes with us, determined to share the flavors of our home with our new community.
The Meaning Behind Our Name
The name "Bandeño" comes from a special chile grown along the riverbanks in Guerrero, Mexico. It represents where we come from and the deep connection we have to our roots. Just like that chile, our food carries the bold flavors and traditions of Mexico, staying true to the way our family has cooked for generations.
